Financial Soundness Indicators Hands-on Workshop
INTRODUCTION
It covers concepts and definitions, data sources, and techniques for the compilation of Financial Soundness Indicators (FSIs) that serve to support macro-prudential analysis. It covers the fundamental aspects of the methodology for the construction of FSIs.
The course introduces the FSI Template for use in the regular reporting of FSI data and metadata and provides guidance in accessing and using the FSI data and metadata. It also provides information on the use of FSIs in financial sector surveillance.
Course Aim
- Professionals from central banks and financial sector supervisory agencies responsible for compiling the solvency and risk indicators of the financial sector, professionals responsible for declaring FSIs to international financial organizations for global disclosure, as well as to those linked to the analysis of macroprudential policies.
